When Sean Penn needs to smoke it appears nothing can stand in the way between him and his next hit of nicotine, as recently seen by his usage of an electronic cigarette during a New York based conference discussing ‘Expanding Cross-Sector Coordination in Haiti’.
Sean Penn became a strong advocate for the Haitian cause after the disastrous 2010 earthquake, and was offering a passionate plea for the eyes of the world to turn Haiti at the forum. His charged and expressional points only punctuated by long, slow drags on his electronic cigarette, and the plooms of odourless vapour it produced.
The Hollywood actor rose to fame after his role in early eighties film Fast Times at Ridgemont High, and has also starred in the seminal Thin Red Line , and even TV sitcom Friends amongst other roles.
Recently however Mr. Penn has slowed down on his acting roles seeking to selflessly dedicate his life to the Haitian cause, having founded the J/P Haitian Relief Organisation. He has also often acted as the exclusive investor in large projects in the country, as well helping with the manual labour of the clear up efforts.
The actor is renowned for his smoking habit, often seen on set sneaking a cigarette between breaks, however his seemingly recent usage of e-cigarettes has once again opened the door to the freedom to smoke almost anywhere, and judging by his usage in this conference it seems the actor must be enjoying the switch to e-cigarettes.
