The UK’s fastest growing electronic cigarette brand, Gamucci, has today announced a deal with Tesco that will see Gamucci premium electronic cigarettes on sale in approximately 2,000 Tesco Express Stores and Tesco Filling Stations nationwide. This further strengthens Gamucci’s retail footprint in the UK and follows similar tie-ups with Waitrose, WHSmith, and other leading retailers both within the UK and overseas.

Consumers will be able to see Gamucci’s products in a Tesco fixture as part of an electronic cigarette category which will appear adjacent to existing tobacco merchandising fixtures.

There are now an estimated 1.6 million people using electronic cigarettes in the UK, while the electronic cigarette industry is worth at least $3.5bn globally, according to Euromonitor International. Gamucci is experiencing year-on-year growth of more than 2,000 per cent, according to Nielsen.

Last week, Gamucci unveiled the world's first custom-built electronic cigarette airport vaping zone, located airside in Terminal Four at Heathrow Airport. The Gamucci Zone is the first airport venue to offer a designated indoor area where passengers can enjoy electronic cigarettes. It can be found in the International Departure Lounge next to luxury brands and duty free stores, with entry restricted only to those aged 18 and over.
